Delhi & NCR school ad-missions 2009-2010

I am back with a new teeth grinding phase for parents seeking admissions for little kiddies and in formal schools. Checking newspaper, talking to neighborhood friends, viewing school websites for latest updates on Delhi & NCR school admissions is in air. Time to shell out pockets and use jacks for admissions. I m less interested in this methodology but it all prevails.

NCR schools have opened there trap ! Delhi schools have yet too ;) !!

I can share few of my search results with you ! If they help you shower thanks to momtouch in form of a reply post !

One of Disney’s best known characters is celebrating his 80th birthday. Mickey Mouse first graced the silver screen back in 1928 - when his profile and personality were decidedly more rat-like than the loveable

    Hi Anandiraj,

Welcome to Momtouch ! Yes, almost all schools does keep a provision of 3-4 new admissions in July. But need to exercise bit fast now. Call up schools in gurgaon and check on procedure. I am sure on Presidium gurgaon cuz one of my known got UKG admission in same school other branch in Delhi last year. It was`nt much of a issue for them. The list of schools and phone numbers available on the site.

    Hope that helps !

    Hi!

Thanks so much for this valuable information on schools and admissions. But I will be grateful if someone can answer my doubts. My daughter is 2.11 years and will turn 3 on 14th November’09. She is currently going to a good play school in Gurgoan. I checked from various sources that she will not be applicable for admissions as she was not 3+ by sept’09. However, is there any chance I can try my luck despite this in any of the Gurgoan schools now?

The option otherwise would be to make her go to a playschool where she does her pre-nursery and then she goes to Nursery in 2011. But tht would be too late for her.

    Please advice.

    Thanks so much!

    Kriti

Alpine convent school, Sector 15, 38 Gurgaon: Business model
Disclaimer: I am not a parent of any kid that studies in this school or not a teacher too. I am just an amused blogger from Gurgaon.
Just wanted to share something about this school, which will help a kid and parent too to take a decision before choosing anything. This school is doing a temporary business where they simply hire a teacher, if they have any temporary event on a mass scale. And once, this event gets over, the teachers are fired with no reason at their disposal.
Mere experimentation on the students for just few bucks, by changing teachers every month, does not sounds erratic? They even believe in keeping parents happy by asking teachers not to say anything negative, which make parents to pull out their children from school. I don’t understand, instructing teachers not to pin point a student mistake will how long will going to continue. What’s the role of teacher exactly is then? How will this then help students to improve? How will parents come to know about their children wrong doings and weaknesses?
Mere doing a business on the cost of student’s life is not at all advisable. So, please do homework before making any decision. Thanks.
